House pets like keep them indoors in a bird cage type thing?

Aw man! I always thought I'd get some one day and keep them in a naturalized outdoor aviary, butbyhis just busted my bubble. I knew people kept them inside often but had no idea it was out of necessity. Thought it was just preference. Well, no button quail for me. :hit

You might be ok in Louisiana! I’m in Canada so definitely no outdoor buttons for me.
