She is gone.
My last baby is dead.

I am a complete wreck now, I can't stop crying and can't even get up.

She died in my hand. Bobbed her neck, heard some bubbling. I realized too late that she was drowning or something (I was not feeding her but her crop was full). I couldn't clear her airway, couldn't get oxygen in her, couldn't do anything. I was helpless and watched her die.

I feel like scum right now.

Didn’t take long before all three were playing soccer with the eggs that are left. Two have external pips and one I’m pretty sure was a quitter but I left it in as I’m not sure.

Well you can now say you know 1 person who isn't. I ended up with blood splatter in my eye after doing chest compressions on a dying woman on my second day of clinicals ever. I've been ruined ever since. I mean, I'm still committed, but there is no fun left in it for me. Had to have blood work done immediately afterwards. It's a really big deal when blood transfer occurs and I was freaking out!

One of my sister's friends had her first patient die on her her first day of clinicals. She had just stepped in to say hi and fill out the chart, but forgot her pen at the desk. The patient had a heart attack.

Yes, as of today, but I'm still keeping an eye on him. We tried to remove it on Saturday but he instantly started biting the stitches. His upgraded cone.

What a cute little devil, such a kissable wrinkly face. I was going to suggest those “inflatable tire” type of cones earlier and totally forgot, you’re way ahead of me though.

That’s horrible.
Not sure if I ever mentioned that the Ginger is an ex-paramedic. One of his first calls ever was a SIDS patient.. rough stuff. :/
