Didn’t take long before all three were playing soccer with the eggs that are left. Two have external pips and one I’m pretty sure was a quitter but I left it in as I’m not sure.

All of us were wrong!

I bet the others have hatched already. ??

Welcome back!

You missed ducklings and chicks hatching but the chicks all died. The Farmers' Daughter got a house delivered for her birthday. Crazy Kiki cleans dog bowls and chicken waterer every day.
As far as what you missed from us? We’ve got three eggs in our new incubator, all blue Brahmas, one is a double yolker. We also got P-T tested and we’ve got our NPIP paperwork being sent in this week.

What are the new breeds? Did you get them from egg man again? Is that who you got the other 5 from too?

D'Uccles, Japanese Bantams, and standard Polish.
These are from someone else. I got the other 5 from a CT breeder.

She is gone.
My last baby is dead.

I am a complete wreck now, I can't stop crying and can't even get up.

She died in my hand. Bobbed her neck, heard some bubbling. I realized too late that she was drowning or something (I was not feeding her but her crop was full). I couldn't clear her airway, couldn't get oxygen in her, couldn't do anything. I was helpless and watched her die.

I feel like scum right now.

I am sorry.
I don't think there was anything you could do to save her.
She had a rough start and wasn't meant to be.

It should be after we get our certification back and done with! Then we should be able to send you some eggs, or chicks. It’s an exciting (but stressful) time! I’ve been working on setting up a website, and Facebook page on top of my classes.
