➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I can't be the only killer here.
Come on Conan tell me you have killed too.
:fl
Oh, dear Kiki - YES!!! The whole reason this came up (at work) is because I naturally assumed that EVERYONE killed people in their dreams. I have killed many people. Usually it take's a lot longer than I think it will and most of the time it's really, really violent. Like I have to beat people to death to get where I'm going. Almost always strangers. Before anyone says anything, I don't play any video games at all.
I have also murdered someone I work with.

I love your honesty!

Interesting. Leave it to Conan to come up with some dark and twisty poll :lau. I'm down for it; although, I can't recall ever killing anyone in my dreams I had some freaky dreams last night. And I NEVER remember my dreams but woke up dreaming this morning. I blame it on the shock of the routine change.
You can always leave it to me to get weird :)
I found that when I polled everyone one I knew, worked with, etc., Only about 40% of people said yes at all, about 95% of them women. Of those people, about 60% said that the deaths were accidental or negligence. Only 40% of the folks that kill in their dreams are violent/murder/etc. Only one man. Interesting, no?

With Junior (see pic) I am pretty sure the first of the “red above the wing” feathers came in BEFORE he got his any of the other male-specific plumage. When he was little I think he was all blue like his mom and sisters. Then he got the red above the wings, then the colorful sickle, hackle, and saddle feathers. But I don’t know exactly how old he was when the first red appeared.

Thank you for this. I'm sure tons of people know the answer I'm just not exactly sure how to go about finding the answer without a lot of searching that I just don't have the motivation or patience for right now.

You're not the first person ;)
I'm actually a nice person (I think)... I honestly just think it's because I watch a LOT of violent television. I think of dreams as a sort of subconscious dumping ground - I don't really read into them too much.

Very very interesting, but I'm honestly not surprised one bit.

How interesting! I have never dreamed about killing that I can recall but I bet killing one or two coworkers (in dreamland) would be quite therapeutic. I usually spend my time flying lol

Me neither. I wonder if it has something to do with inherent fear/anxiety. Biologically hardwired in there or something? Fear of either something happening or causing something to happen.

I was totally kidding. You seem very nice. And I agree 100%. When I actually remember my dreams there's always a link to something I've done or watched that day. I never think of my dreams as something of importance to be analyzed. And they seldom make any sense at all.
