Seriously? :gigYou’re crazy, I love it. I’d break my ankle in those things, good for you!

Crocs.. heels.. am I the only one who just wears flip flops outside?

I actually don't own any flip flops as in the thong sandals that go between the toes. I do have some plastic ones that look like birkenstocks that I wear in and out of the coop for every day chicken chores (they get taken off at the back door) but I have rubber boots that I clean the coop in.

I have a reputation with builders and other tradesmen for stomping through construction sites in sky high heels...I always said that I don't do work boots but if I found some with giant heels, I'd be willing. So when I saw these, I had to buy them for that very purpose! Surprisingly enough, and though they started as a joke, they are so comfortable and very practical as far as heels are concerned. Not so pretty, but they serve many purposes, including boosting my height to a desirable level!

Do you wear them with socks?

I used to wear flip-flops but they made my feet sore. I usually go barefoot outside unless I'm doing something like clearing brush that requires footwear, which is when I don my crocs. They also get used for chicken chores in fall and spring, when it's too warm for boots but the grass is still frosted over and so is freezing cold on the bare feet.
