She thinks the one in the top photo has off eyes. Shaped like an almond. They are cute! What does having almond shaped eyes mean?
I agree. It's wrong to breed sick birds.
Just wrong.
So true. It's even wronger (is that a word) to sell sick birds.
Very wrong.
Yes, and what I meant to say is "what causes almond-shaped eyes". My bad.She thinks the one in the top photo has off eyes. Shaped like an almond.
I felt the exact same way earlier this year. My plea was "please stay tiny and cute, but also please hurry up and get big so I don't have to worry so much about cats and tiny hawks."I know.
Slow down babies.. but also hurry up so I can stop worrying about snakes, please.

Awww it was probably tucked up under Momma's wing and she carried it overBut I have a birthday every year! I can't pick a favorite.
Broody good this morning. Lots of rain. I want to run home and check. Stuck them in the tractor this morning with adequate rain cover available. They just have to know to use it.
I have a magic chick!
I picked the momma and one baby up and moved them to the tractor. Went back to look for the other baby. Woke everyone else up, looked every where. Couldn't find second baby. Argh! Lost another one.
Went to settle the momma and both babies were in the tractor. The baby magically teletransported to the tractor to be with momma! Momma magic is amazing!
must be the pixie dust.
