Kiki did you read the diet her birds are getting? Can't vitamin deficiency cause symptoms similar to neurological disorders?

Between the moldy coop, lack of proper feed, and disease ridden living conditions (salmonella, giardia, lice).. it could be anything or everything.

I read several posts but not all. I wasn't sure honestly about the diet. I just thought I remembered reading that somewhere. They do have variety but how does she monitor that they get the daily amounts of nutrients they need feeding that way.

I imagine Epsom salts would at least help by drowning them. When I gave a bath to a louse-y bird, it worked almost as well as permethrin.

Did anyone else pick up on the fact that the OP seemed to think that the “crude” in “crude protein” refers to the QUALITY of the protein? I think the exact phrase was along the lines of “I don’t trust that crude protein” I am dead.
