I agree with you in many cases. I was denied a dog from one organization once because I had a doggie door. They wanted the dog in a crate for 8+ hours because a doggie door into a yard with locked gates on an 8’ board on board privacy fence was insecure and the dog may run away. My dogs live better than a large portion of kids in this country. That group was nuts. Moved on to another one.

That's a perfect example of over complicating the process. How stupid to deny an animal a wonderful home with people who obviously know how to take care of a dog. What a joke!

That’s different! We were denied because we couldn’t be home all day long. They said that my mom had to be a stay at home mom to be able to adopt.
