➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I think I get it.
Would it kinda be like breeding (Making up stuff here) a Cackle Hatchery Australorp with an Ideal Poultry Australorp...meaning they are both Australorps but from different "lines"?
basically I just needed the original hen for her ability to create an embryo (the kelsos)

I've only emailed and sent a request through their website.
Maybe tomorrow I will call them.
I bet they don't answer the phone.
Maybe I will pretend to be a future customer this time.
FWIW, I think the OP in the thread I posted called them directly and did get an answer and full explanation.

Do songbirds require direct feeding by a parent? Cause chickens don't do that...

Not at fledgling stage I don't believe. At that point they are out of the nest and being trained to fly and send for themselves by mom however their diet may still be supplemented by mom. I'm not 100% sure on that. What I do know is that a fledgeling on the ground is not really in need of rescue. It's a necessary part of their development. Mom stays nearby to guide the baby. I'm just read where the girl said the bird broody combo was unsuccessful somthe bird was back out. Just just hopes the cat doesn't get it.:th So preventable! :barnie And it was never going to work but now her chickens have been exposed to who knows what!

I always wanted to try the old school mange recipe of burnt motor oil with powdered sulphur mixed in. I bet it would work. And yes I'd rub them down with burnt motor oil
We had a dog with mange come in once that reeked of gasoline and was covered in motor oil.
It was twice as much of a pain in the ass to take care of.. he had mild chemical burns and stank to high heaven.
