Idk how it detaches. I read that a detached crop is a symptom of advanced Marek's.
I need her alive today to take a live sample from her for testing.
After that I will call up the cheapest necropsy place I can find and get a quote, info on how to send her and then I will euthanize her and send her in. Then I can have two ways to test for Marek's.

Where did you read about Marek's and crops detracting?

If she is not getting better why not do just the necropsy through your state lab?

State lab is going to be the cheapest.
My thread has all 50 states lab's info including some prices...but you have to double check to make sure that they accept out of state birds.

Necropsy and disease testing lab info

California does $20 necropsies for residents, but out of state one are probably $250.

I have no advice on the humidity -- In the summer here, humidity is usually in the teens, maybe hitting 25% first think in the morning. I've seen it under 10% in the afternoon. For those longing for a "dry heat", it's no picnic either.

It sounds like you’ve got all your bases covered though, you’ll do just fine.
My boy is 8 and we still have to crate him when we leave the house. He shreds anything and everything. His crate is his safe space and he feels most comfortable there when alone.

Hmm, that's a good point, I hadn't thought of that... maybe I'll make sure to train some down time too lol

WHOA! Was that from brushing him? Or did you comb him or? My friend's Golden looks like the first one most times and I thought maybe it was a bad breeder lol they use a furminator i think but that's it. She's like 6. The year old puppy still looks good.

Except I think I got a little too greedy/in a hurry to do more while he was letting me/see how many I could do while he was letting me and quicked him he barely reacted though. Except I couldn't find the damn quik stop powder anywhere (it was in the cabinet with the clippers and shampoos and supplements and stuff but now not. Idk if my mom moved it or what) so I had to use corn starch. Took a bit longer, spilled it on the floor, etc. But it worked once I packed it on thick enough.

X2 the castor oil. I think it is so much less messy than Vaseline. A little goes a long way imo.
