Does any body else have double left hand turn lanes? We have a lot of them here. When you're in the right side left turn lane (was that to confusing?) & making a left it looks like the cars across the street are coming right at you. We've had people in from out of town that freak & stop dead in the middle of the street.

Yep! It doesn’t freak too many people out much here. Honestly most of the time people turn from a straight only lane anyways.

Did you ever tell us what you thought about eating quail eggs compared to chicken eggs? Crazy Lady is on a no yolk kick, so she gets chicken eggs. I don't think a yolkless quail egg would amount to more than half a bite.

The broody is now molting. When I pick her up, feather go everywhere. Oops. Thought I broke something.

After opening the door today, everyone came out but the chicks. I sat back and watched. One of the little buggers flew up to the roost. About 2 feet high. Could have flew up from the nest box. But really, 2 weeks old?!? So, they are integrated with the big girls. Solves a problem.

Hmm, below you, here in DE, most roads are 2 lanes on each side and any left as one lane are being expanded to two. Our highway is 4 but the area where it splits to 295 and 495 is constantly expanding....I want to say it's up to 8 lanes across now. However, with all the lanes...it's still a parking lot in the morning and in the evening.

They are finally expanding the highway though. To 3 lanes I think but idk. It's needed it for years lol it's been 2 for like 20 years and traffic is getting worse, more cars and such.

We have one into a relatively busy shopping plaza but the other cars are at a light so no one is coming at you. But when I drove in the city for the first time last month I freaked out at this one intersection getting back on the highway. It's a double left and that one, the cars DO come at you kind of, the other side is a double right.

Hmm.... I can't say that we have those...usually it's the double on/off ramps with the inner most lane (right) merging that cause people issues around here because they can't seem to keep that consistent with several of the ramps (one by me) having the left lane be the merge lane. You should see that freak out the out-of-staters. They have started really using traffic circles here too. When those first got installed I'm sure many people held their breath and closed their eyes (I know I did!).

A city just north of us has a 3 way left hand turn & really bad traffic. It takes you at least 2 signals to get thru & if you're not in the correct lane when you turn, you can pretty much forget about changing lanes to get on the freeway. Its a freaking nightmare!

Traffic circles are popping up on a lot of the smaller streets here too. I'm not a huge fan.
