➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Well, heat naturally rises. Cold air naturally sinks low. So I guess to me... kind of. Maybe I looked at what she said wrong? I was thinking like... I don’t know what they’re officially called. You see them on home improvement shows sometimes. Where they’ll run like coils or something in the floor and it keeps the floor warm. Of course there is actual flooring over it. You’ll see it in bathrooms or basement flooring a lot. That’s what I was picturing in my head. So that’s why I thought it was weird. It didn’t make sense to me. I didn’t think of vents.

I know how crazy it sounds, but we dont have AC & there were no vents in the house until we brought in a gas heater. The coils like you're picturing are in the ceiling covered with acoustic (popcorn) spray. The coils had baked the living crap outta the acoustic & DH had a terrible time removing it when I wanted flat painted ceilings. The heater people installed the vents in the floor because its super hilly here & our house is raised pretty high off the ground & the heating unit went under the house.

My whole culdesac was built at the same time & all 4 houses have some weird quirks. We joke that a bunch of guys who didn't know what they were doing decided to build them over a long weekend while drinking a keg of beer.

My father got this at a garage sale and gave it to me. My brother stopped by to see it but did not notice it because he was standing right in front of it with his back to it. It was even with his face so he got quite a surprise when he turned around to see it.

That bear is AWESOME. Others are also nice, but that bear...

I made it home from my travels.....the heat .....I was in KikisGirls land...as we flew out of Texas I waved to her....
The qualies look so good, and that video makes it seem so easy.....I love the popper idea but such little meat....I know you can harvest them in half the time of chickens.....making me think, much brain hurt, can you raise out quail with chickens?

You can't really raise quail with chickens. They require more protein, chickens will probably kill them, and they can fly really well. Just a few reasons why it would be a bad idea.

Yes... this was exactly what I was thinking of. Thx.

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to house them together. Quailies are small.
