➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Wow pretty far north. Why is there all the rain? Hurricane or just rain? Seems a little north for the hurricane?
Lol! Noooo no hurricane, we’re so far north that a hurricane would be impossible to hit us. We just had some tropical fronts move in from the south at the same time a low pressure sat just to the west of us so it set up a constant back build of storms which dumped over 10 inches on us within the day.

I think I found @BantyChooks ’ coop.

Well I am either going to have to buy this pocket hole thing or brackets.

Which ever one will be easier.

You don’t have to buy a jig, you can just drill a pilot hole on an angle. If you want to counter sink the screw heat just go over your pilot hole with a 3/8 bit. It is always faster and neater if you have the right tools but not required.

Our pastures, pond, and yards are completely flooded all from the rain we’ve gotten today. Our pond was completely dry this morning. This is what it looked like at 5pm. Now it’s where I was standing to take the picture, and we’re still getting heavy rains. The roads to our house are underwater. It’s bad. However, the ducks feel like they are living in paradise.

We had 7 plus inches of rain over night too. Our pond was down a couple of feet and now we have rapids ar the overflow. The back pasture is flooded which means the creek that is in a 20 foot deep ditch os over flowing. Nature is amazing.
