➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I buy stuff from stores like that that I expect to not last and break. Kinda like harbor freight tools. Some things yes, some things I know better. You get exactly what you pay for.
I bought my quail's dirt kitty litter pans there.
They are working perfectly.

I don't mind buying stuff like this there.

Harbor freight I buy all my roofs for my pens. They last about 6-8mo and 3.00 ea. The sun will kill most everything anyway. Electronics no way. Tape measure basic tools for basic stuff yes. Nice socket sets no hammer yes etc
I get junk mail from them with the weekly sales ads. They try to trick me with a free coupon each week. I trash it.

I'm pretty sure the Mex does not buy his tools their either.

You both just saved me five dollars.

Thanks!

I've driving by a few times but never stopped.
I'll stick to the real dollar store.
Dollar Tree.

I love these two stores. Especially Dollar tree, all kinds of goodies there. I've gotten $3 tarps from harbor freight to give my girls some shade this summer, that we've also used as drop cloths for painting projects.

I can not believe I am doing this.
We just talked about keeping quail this week and I was planning on researching bators for that...I still need to start that research, but I am too dang busy talking to duck eggs right now.

:th
Wow 6 months goes by fast!

Kinda random but we thought he was part setter because of the ticking (I think setters have a different name for it?) on the face and legs but also my mom especially thought it because of his face/head. She said he has a setter head. Plus Pyrenees and Collies don't carry ticking. It will be interesting to see what the DNA test comes back as. Idk when they are going to do it but they said they are going to do one for him just like they did for Libby.

And he now says he thinks he is exactly 14 weeks and he's 30 pounds. (The other day he thought 13 weeks, they picked him up today/Saturday). He doesn't think he will get much bigger than 80-90. But of course that is their opinion. Who knows. Libby is currently almost 70 (69 point something, probably 70 now) at 10 months.
