So we are stupid for each other. Been that way since we started dating. I wonder if it will last? Who knows?!?

Kids - it is a short term commitment. 30 years - give or take. Try it, you may like it. Just be warned, all livestock poops, pukes and makes messes and you have to clean it up. Kids are hard to sell. Be warned.

The difference between kids and livestock is that you can only eat the annoying animals.

The Brahma chicks are here! The Brahma chicks are here!!! I ordered 3, then was worrying if they were all boys or all girls, so I asked if they had received any extras and there were 3 extra Brahmas sent! So I came home with 6 Brahmas and a White Rock, because they sounded cool. Now I'm just hoping they actually received Brahmas instead of Cochins, I haven't had either so not sure how to tell the difference as chicks.

The tall one in the middle is the White Rock. The others are supposed to be the blue partridge Brahmas, there are three that are gray and three that are multi colored, two of which have brown on their head. Did I get the right chicks?!

I am sure that you do not have a White Rock. Way back when I had White Rock chicks, they were all yellow.

Hmm, I wonder what it is then. I think it's probably a week older than the other chicks since it has so many wing feathers and the tail feathers are starting.

I'm about a week behind on posts, but thought I'd pop in to say hi. So, hi

Screw piles are going in later today for the foundation. About bloody time. The house has been sitting in the field for over a month now.

Bingo went for his 12 week shots today. He's gained 5.4kg in the past 4 weeks. He's having dental surgery next week. One of his canines is growing in wrong and is puncturing his mouth. Hopefully his adult teeth will be fine.
