➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I seriously just posted this on a homesteading/farming/giant awesome family&community now FB group I'm on LOL I am evidently desperate :lau

Anybody have any lop rabbits? I really want a rabbit and the lops are just so cute. They had a lot of cute ones at the Fryeburg Fair and I almost bought one when we went this weekend but didn't want to drive one all the way home and/or sneak it in the hotel anyway, preferably Holland Lop, Mini Lop, or French Lop but they're all honestly adorable.
No bunnies here. Craigslist might have some in your area. Personally, I like the look of Flemish Giants or Netherland dwarfs. I love the extreme size differences.

Oh yea. In that essay I forgot to say, SUPER CUTE PUP @The Farmers' Daughter
I love him. :love What’s his story? I tried my best to catch up but I might’ve skipped a few pages.
Hehe.
Lol. No worries. You've got more important things to talk about than puppies (like being doped up).
Mr. Bingo Puck is a Karakachan. In those pictures he's 9 weeks old. He's my future LGD.

This might be a silly question, but do LGDs need specialized training or do you train them yourselves? My dog experience has strictly been of the pug and Chihuahua variety.

Good question.
He seems to have the instinct already to want to just be by their runs. From what I've read, the biggest aspect in training them is to gradually introduce them. I did the stupidest thing yesterday and let the birds out to free range while he was off leash. He thought it was the greatest thing in the world. The chickens? Not.

He's a total sweetie. Incredibly well behaved. He likes nothing better thN being down by his chickens. The funniest is when he tries to get them to play. They just stand there and look at him, saying to each other "what is his problem? "

He goes in for a tooth extraction in the morning. The original hope was that the tooth that's out of alignment wouldn't be an issue and that the adult tooth would grow in fine. He's already got a bad spot in his mouth from the tooth puncturing and it'll be another 3 months before he loses his puppy teeth.

I haven't taken pics of him in a couple of weeks, but I'll take some tomorrow if he isn't too out of it from the anesthetic.

Awww he sounds awesome. And hopefully the chicken chasing won't set him back too much

I think there are a lot of rabbits and/or breeders here but idk. I didn't see much good on Craigslist but I'll keep searching. Got some replies on the group though

And aww too cute. I love those too and originally thought I wanted a Flemish Giant or New Zealand or other such huge breed but now I think I want a smaller, cuter breed lol
