Yes, attached to the wood, which was attached to the wall so the cups drained into the sink.

Let me see how little/big the hole is on the bottom of the cup please.

The holes in the bottom didn't work the way we wanted, they were big enough to have the quail head through, except the quail were too snug in the cups to reach the bottom. What we ended up doing was snip the head and then immediately put in the cup to drain the blood and prevent flapping.
