➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Wow, the black ones look like silver laced something to me. Definitely single combs, too. That's the way my silver laced Wyandottes started out as chicks and the lacing develops over time as they mature.

I was thinking the same. Definitely not the partridge Brahmas that she ordered.
Argh. Do you think they might be silver laced cochins then? They definitely have feathers on their feet. And since the combs are the same on all, they are probably two colors of the same breed, whatever that is. Super frustrating. I think I need to go to the feed store and ask them to give me the name of the chick supplier and do a little digging. Thank you for your expertise.

I’m sorry! I know how frustrating that has to be. :hugs I will agree that they look to be silver laced Cochins. Definitely look into their chick supplier :)

LOL - yes, I understand. Different backgrounds. I still annoy Crazy Lady when I sit down to watch a movie and can't stand the "Hollywood interpretation" of flying machines.

"You ain't been lost until you've been lost at Mach 3."

I get tickled when people move into the flight path of the local airport and then are upset when planes come and go all day. If you don't like the noise, find a different neighborhood 30 miles away. Same with train tracks, interstate highways, shooting ranges and concert venues. People are noisy. People with big machines are noisier.

And stadiums! Don't forget sports stadiums!

We are near a highway, train tracks, and under a flight path lol

Usually it's not too loud though. We're also on 2.5 acres. And actually, the wild birds and crickets are way more annoying lmao when those blue jays get going... oh boy lol

And the train is kinda far away so never really hear it very much. My brother though is pretty close to it, they can see the trains go by way on the other end of the marsh. The highway isn't too bad but can definitely hear it cause we're in between like two. Mostly just hear big trucks over bumps.

The airplanes I dont really hear cause they're already way in the air but mostly see them. We do have helicopters fly by a lot though. I don't really know why. Some are likely news helicopters for traffic and med flight maybe. Probably some police or coast guard too.

Yes, they certainly could and also, some blue Cochins, it seems like. Definitely not Brahmas, sorry.

We all did it at work and we have a few employees out in other states right now so everyone was calling them to coordinate getting tickets in each of those states as well. :lau

Lol OMG

Someone on Twitter was doing a pool but I don't really know them that well or know how many people are in it. Plus I'd have to share it :lau

But I've been driving around buying a bunch lol
