Hey Banty! :frowQuestion: How low of temps can your Sultans take? It's going down to 35 here tonight, then 33 later this week. I thought I got standards, but they are still really small so I'm thinking I have the bantam versions.
Thanks!

I don't think I've ever brought them in, even in -40. Most sultans I've seen are in between bantam and standard sizes, mine included.

I know...and I'm sure hers can take it to -50, but I'm getting concerned with everything that I'm reading that they are not cold hardy. It was 44 here and really really windy today. I had to repair the coop roof twice....I was pissed. They were active but all fluffed up and huddled at times. I'm thinking they should be ok, they have been snuggling with the bigger girls, but, still want peace of mind.
They're way hardier than my other bantams. If they can't handle 35*f, then they're already seriously ill/in shock!

We get cold here, but it shouldn't go below 0. I think I've only experienced once in my life here in DE that it went to -10...the entire state was encased in ice. Not a good thing. We may see teens at it's coldest and that usually is accompanied by ice/snow. I do put heating panels in during that time, but it's still way too early for that yet.

Heh, you could keep anything you wanted, then.
