You can, but recommend not too. Generally, the birds are frozen. Sent to the store and thawed, then we refreeze it for storage. These birds have already been frozen twice to thrice. At some point, it has to stop.

Well it was frozen solid when I bought it so does that knock one freeze time off the list?

I wonder what Texas Kiki would have done if she walked out her back door and had this 10 feet in front of her, I ran back in the house to grab my phone...them mocked it, called it a baby killer and then told my dog to get it...it just flew off, dog had no chance. I have lost more chickies to them than hawks, but still my number one killer is the eagles...View attachment 1585879

Very scary and totally silent on the wing. I saw in a documentary how their feathers are structured differently to achieve silent flight and they lose some of their ability to repel water. Is this a resident owl or a transient?
