➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Truckee, where you need tire chains to travel I 80, (if it's open in winter) and across from where the Donner Party had their little winter adventure.
:wee

I have had lunch there a couple of times in the Summer! (at Truckee not the Donner party...)

But didn't you end up with a variety of light bulbs? Maybe a different bulb would give you the right temp again. And isn't your reptile thing gonna turn it off once it gets too hot?
My reptile thing was in there.
It didn't turn the light off quick enough.

I am officially caught up! I've been lurking on this post since page 70. I'm so sorry S & W didn't make it. I really hope you get some new balutties soon! I'm excited to see this work. Also, Texas is awesome! I grew up in the cold north, and I like myTexas winters. Still on the fence about the summers. lol
Welcome and congrats on catching up!
Balutties coming soon.

I bought one light bulb...a three way one and that 3 way one doesn't work in the two lamps that I am willing to macgyver.

I don't think the 3 way light bulb is of any use right now—remember I got the thermostat after the 3 way bulb.

I need help real quick before I go get busy again.

I'm now worried about putting the light bulb inside the bator.

I'm thinking it might get TOO hot too quick again, even with the reptile thermostat.
It JUST did this.

If I cut another hole, to stick the bare bulb into to test it out that way...do I cut the hole near the top of the bator or in the middle or down low?

Where is the best place for me to install a bare light bulb?
