Oh, they are gorgeous! You’re making me sorely miss Wyoming; we went for our honeymoon and I absolutely fell in love.

We listed our last Blue boy for sale, and within 10 minutes he was spoken for! I don’t blame them, he’s gorgeous. :love

Wow, he is beautiful. I really love that deep red and blue color combo.

My MIL took Floppy home after everything was packed up today. I hope he fits in well at the ranch.

Thank you. I wish we could keep him but he’s full blooded Australorp unfortunately.
I hope so too! I’m sure Floppy will fit in fine. :)

Hmm. From wiki - not an antelope.

The pronghorn (Antilocapra americana) is an even-toed ungulate mammal, the only living member of the family Antilocapridae. It is a small ruminant mammal which looks a bit like an antelope. The pronghorn lives in North America. It lives in the prairies, but sometimes also in the desert and the Rocky Mountains.

The antilocaprids evolved in North America, where they filled a niche similar to that of the bovids that evolved in the Old World.
Did you know they’re the only animals in the world to grow branched horns (as opposed to antlers), and to regularly shed its horns like antlers? Weird animals.

I want one.
Talk to Santa. Lots of TALL fences to keep them in. Or just get a prairie. They are awfully skittish. Worse than Leghorns, I've heard. Downright wild.

I did not know that. I heard they taste better than whitetail.

Can't I just stick them in an upsidedown goldfish bowl or something?
