➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I want to get some colorful egg layers. I keep looking on MeyerHatchery at what they offer. Ideally I wouldn't mind having an
Easter Egger https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=AMAS
I just want to squeeze those puffy beard and cheeks! Love it!
Olive Egger for green eggs, of which they are out :(
https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=OEGS
Cream Legbar https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=CRLS
and either a
Lakeshore Egger https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=LSES
or
Blue Ameraucana https://www.meyerhatchery.com/productinfo.a5w?prodID=BAMS

I want green egg layers and blue egg layers. So maybe some combination of those listed above. I want the bearded one just cause of the face lol.
Now on to ducks:
I would like to add 3 females to go with the 1 male and 2 females that we already have. Narrowing down what I want is difficult for me because I want so much. That just isn't practical. I like the look of a Magpie (which Ideal sells. Haven't seen it at the other sites I typically visit). We've thought about Muscovies. I wouldn't mind a Silver Appleyard or Buff.
Now on to Geese:
We want either 1 or 2. Super African or.... Embden maybe?

So many choices...I'll look and look and look until I make a final decision on what route we're going to go.
I really love my Magpie hen and my Welsh Harlequin pair. They really are awesome. My Magpie is the quietest bird I have and she's very sweet despite not being even remotely bonded. She's an excellent layer. A matter of opinion, of course... but I think the Welshies are prettier than the Silver Appleyard. Looks aside, my Welsh lays very well. The Cayugas are the best layers for me, but boy are they ever flighty and LOUD. Incredible layers, though, so I'll always keep a couple (likely mixes) around.
I am also adding a couple geese this year! Hooray for Geese! I am going with the American Buff. The gal that I get feed from has a whole mess of them and they are just about the neatest birds ever. So quiet and friendly. I plan on getting them to help with the lawn maintenance in the orchard. They'll probably end up hanging with the calls. That'll be a funny sight :)

Right!? I love it so much. And yeah, same lol couldn’t do the outhouse. Or the on site cemetary lol
I LOVE cemeteries. I'm weird like that. There's this old historical cemetery in Gig Harbor right down the road from where one of my closest friends lived in high school. The kind where a bunch of the old head stones are covered by ferns and encroaching forests. We'd crack some beers and walk down there at night and hang. There's a cool old water tower too. Good times!

I think they're kind of sad, especially the ones with lots of children's graves. There's something peaceful about them though. I took some photos in a local one once. It was neat.

It was peaceful. No one around at the end of a dead end road. I'm completely sane, I assure you.

Yeah that’s a negative for me captain. We looked at a house that was next to a cemetery and I couldn’t breathe the whole time we were there. I felt out of place.
