I’ve heard the same about the laying capabilities. Luckily we only got them for the egg color. Most of the people we sell to don’t want colored eggs so these get to be home-use eggs.

I keep a record of the eggs laid and my two Cream Legbar hens that turned 1 year old last year laid a grand total of 127 eggs for all of 2018. I am using them in my Rose Comb Legbar project and I like to keep a Cream Legbar rooster around to create Sapphires.

He is beyond dumb and can do no wrong.

My dog Buster likes to smell them as well. I mean, he practically tries to sniff the entire egg up his nostrils. He is so funny!

Ruger has big enough nostrils that he could have taken this one up, but he doesn’t care about smelling them. He just loves the scrambled eggs.

You pay someone to wash your dog?

I pay for them to get their nails trimmed (Wasabi's nails are black so I can't see the quick). Every once in awhile they get a spa day out of it.

What are you crossing them with to bring in the rose comb? That sounds like a really interesting project.

Dog can lay on the sofa. Absolutely no male dogs or cats inside at all fixed or not

I just had to go rescue my new rabbit cage poop tray from the dummy's mouth.


I haven't finished dog proofing my new cages quite yet.
