And by now I guess I mean like an hour. But that is better than usual when I usually start the second I wake up lol

Let the girls out a few hours ago for some exercise and fun for them. I normally don’t let them out so early but I only had one job today instead of 2 so I got home around 12:20, 12:30 instead of 2 or 2:30 like usual so I figured I would let them out earlier. I don’t usually like to because it means I have to watch them longer but they are loving it and I have been looking out the window every so often. Have mostly stayed in the backyard but did venture next to the garage for a bit. That scared me when I lost sight of them but they were happily scratching away in the leaves. Lol They are mostly hanging out along the wood line/under the pines happily scratching away. They stay in one spot for a while then move to another and sometimes eventually back to the other. They have a few spots they like to hang out in every time they go out but are slightly more adventurous today being out longer, tried one new spot (next to the garage) lol which isn’t really that new because it’s next to one of their other favorite spots but still lol

Anyway, they are getting a little bit fat and have been sitting in their coop a lot lately for some reason so I wanted them to get some exercise and lose some weight and hopefully letting them out every day will help with that lol

UGH. This is not helping my puppy fever

Remember that litter I was considering getting a puppy from? The one who’s parents sounded like the PERFECT dogs for? They were just born last night and the breeder posted pictures of the litter and I NEED. Like these are seriously the PERFECT dogs for me and idk when I’m gonna find another opportunity like this. But it’s not the right time and I keep trying to tell myself that but they are SO FLIPPIN CUTE

Like I keep trying to tell myself I do NOT need a puppy right now but then I look at their sweet little faces and the fact that they still have reservations available for boys and it’s so tempting...

Bingo is huge! It sucks that your having all of these delays because of the cold. Frankly I don't know how you could stand to walk around in -20+ weather. I think I'll take it molten hot summer instead.

Just think of it this way, are Goldens really the breed that will be able to do what you want to do?

What other breeds out there might be better? Also, what do you need to have made/buy first in order to complete these dreams when you get said puppy?
