➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Chicken breasts...I brown them on both sides while I'm cutting up bell pepper, onion and garlic.
I take the chicken out to slice and throw the bell pepper, onion and garlic in.
Today I used a can of mushrooms instead of fresh.
Add chicken back along with two cans of stewed tomatoes.
Simmer while you cook linguine noodles.
Easy peasy.

I use garlic powder, pepper, salt and crushed red pepper flakes.

Thanks! That sounds (and looks) good! It almost looks like something similar we sometimes make for fajitas ha I think I’d probably leave the mushrooms out though but looks so good :love

I like it spicy so I add extra crushed red peppers to my bowl.
It's good if you have a stuffy nose...it helps you be able to breath.

Gosh I'm freezing today.

I don’t usually like spicy foods but I think I could use that right now for my sinuses lol

It is food like this that makes me wish I wasn't such a picky eater. I have a thing with texture and some foods texture... I just can't do it. I will gag. It looks so comforting and like it would be yummy, but I just can't do it. I can't force myself.

Aww :( tbf I am pretty picky too sometimes. I hate mushrooms lol but you shouldn’t have to force yourself!

I am making tortilla soup for dinner. It's a package mix thing but I tweak it and make it my own. We like it around here.

Sorry to hear, those suck. I will say when I cut out carbs my joint pain went way down and so did my migraines. I'm back on carbs but way better than I used to be. It is amazing what eating better and yoga can do to make you feel good!

Thank you! They do but it’s alright. And huh, maybe I will have to try cutting carbs! I have heard it is good for joint pain/inflammation but hadn’t heard migraines but that makes sense. I want to try cutting dairy, sugar, and possibly grain/bread/wheat/way down on carbs cause I think all of those are bad for it and I hear cutting dairy can really help or even cure sinus problems so I want to try it but I love dairy :hit

I’m not really sure why mine started. I did walk/exercise more and didn’t sleep much/got up super early but still, was fine all day until like 5 ish. Idk. But I do at least feel slightly better now. Not really better but I started to get pretty nauseous maybe like an hour and a half ago but then I went outside and walked and even ran some lol and now I feel slightly better. Still a pounding headache so not really better but not nauseous now either lol I am going to try to just go to sleep now and not take anything for it.

There is a documentary on Netflix that follows people who change their diet and are able to cure their diabetes and stop all medications.
Diet is powerful.
