Oh my gosh we love her.

She was pretty wound up and distracted at the shelter but who can blame her? It’s a stressful place for a dog. But she’s gorgeous and was fine with us mushing her face, touching her mouth and feets, etc.. seems like she might be a little bit of an escape artist though.

Tomorrow we’re taking old man Triumph to meet her and if all goes well she’s coming home with us. We’ll have a 3 week grace period to see if she’s a good fit in our home and the rest is history.

Oh yea, definitely renaming her.
Oh wow! Sorry, I'm stealing her, she is too cute to stay in Texas. :gig :love

Aww that’s so sweet. I definitely like my names to be original and have some sort of meaning behind them. Your suggestions are beautiful!

He was just gonna put them in his mouth.. for safe keeping.

Yup, the shelter named her Bunny, she has no training associated with it. I have no idea what her previous name or living conditions were, but she’s a smart pup. She’ll pick up a new name in no time.
Thank you! I’m right there with you. I like having meaningful, original names too.

But then we have a Bella. :gig Everyone seems to name their dogs Bella.

Ruger is my Mastiff, and of course Venus.
We used to have a Bailey, she was named after my grandmother’s maiden name. Then we have Boomer because my family (not me ) are OU fans and that was how we got my dad to say yes.

I suck at coming up with names. It takes me forever. I kind of like Aurora tho. I showed the picture to my son and he's all, "Oh look at the doggo! What a cute doggo" I said, we're trying to come up with a name for her. It's a girl. He said, "I like Daisy". I said, "she said that she like's unique names that have meaning." He goes, "It means flower." He's such a sarcastic snot! He cracks me up!
