I think it's getting a lil crazy with some dog pounds. They beg people to adopt adopt adopt as long as you do exactly as they saw and jump through soo many hoops it's not worth the drama. Coming to my home for visits to make sure the animal is doing ok after Its in my possession! No thanks. Sucks for the animals but some people don't want all that.

Not here. All they wanted was to make sure that dogs are allowed in our house and proof of our other dog’s rabies vaccine.

You do have to consent to a home check if you’re adopting a pitbull, which I personally think is fair.

Oh my gosh lol. I was just looking up name ideas. I’m humming and hawing around Venus or Aurora, Greek goddesses of love... ‘cause we’re adopting her on Valentine’s Day hehe.

But I’m also not letting myself fall head over heels. If she hates Triumph and/or IV then it’s no deal.

Our black lab mix is named Venus... after the planet though because it was shining extremely bright the night we rescued her.

My dog knew his name when he came from the shelter.... I didn't want to confuse him...bad enough his owner didn't want him anymore...he was a handful though

Mina is a German name for love, seeing as she looks German Shepherd based I like that one...and maybe because my last name is German too.
Tivona is a Hebrew name for love’s nature.
Carys is a Welsh name for love.
Grania is a Celtic name for love.
Maitea is a Spanish name for love.

Athena is a good strong name for her.
Anastasia has always been a favorite of mine.
Valentina because...Valentines.
