➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I missed so much. I need to go back through everything. LOL. But good morning! We are finally dry today. :celebrate It didn't feel like the rain was ever going to stop. Then we had some decent thunderstorms come through and we lost power for a little while. My dogs hate the booms so up under our feet or in out laps they stayed. The wind is really whipping out there today. 20-30mph with higher wind gusts. I'll take it tho! Hopefully it blows our saturated yard dry! Looks like no rain until the next round that comes thru Weds evening so we get a few days to dry out first. Not nearly enough time tho. :barnie

You sure do! And I most definitely will.
Hubby uses butter, not margarine. We have a butter dish for his nasty, squishy, room temperature butter. Grosses me out so much.
Ewww. Put it in the refrigerator. Over here, house temps are cool enough for most of the year to keep it at the perfect consistency.

We get this weather in Oklahoma first before it blows your way. Picked up limbs from the trees and wore waders for the past few days. Ground is puddled and saturated...even the raised beds.
Ducks are in heaven, chickens venture out in the mid day and scramble back to their dry digs. The 60 plus mile and hour winds did dry the surface quite a bit...blew the birds around and one cow had her calf twice.
Two days of nice weather....going to fire up the chain saw and finish pruning the fruit trees in the orchard. Then need to prep a bed for the onions and lettuce. Will have to encircle it with chicken wire to keep the ducks and chickens out of that bed.
Moving eggs from the incubator to the hatcher. Set the duck eggs and more chicken eggs.
Food conversation last night was ....ahh...enlightening.
See ya'll this evening.
