➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

No fuzz butts today :( I really didn't expect them but I was kind of hoping lol. But that's just me being impatient. Only updates I have are:
1. Shipping label was created at 2:05.
2. Accepted at facility at 4:40 (is same PO. I think this is where it was scanned to leave). 3. Arrived at distribution center (which was different city) at 5:55. Then it says "your item is in transit to the destination.
So I am waiting. If it's supposed to be 2 day then it should be here tomorrow right? I read a story on here where the PO messed up someones delivery and so many of her poor ducklings were DOA. :hit And it's not the only time it's happened to someone. I guess that is the risk you run by ordering via online. I know that sometimes stuff just happens and/or mistakes get made. It's just got me a little worried. :barnie Here's to them coming tomorrow. :fl

Do they have the breeds that you'd like to get?
They have the red sex links which is what we need, and some wyandottes which I have convinced myself that I need them too.

Aw man! They'll get here tomorrow and be good little healthy babies. :hugs I forgot which breeds you got?

Stop checking the tracking. It will drive you nuts.
I have to do that with everything I order online. I lose my mind over tracking statuses.

What a nice option for ya'll then! Especially with them being so close. If they have them available to buy. A couple hr drive there and back may be a decent drive to undertake but it's a lot more convenient and faster to be able to get what you need/want and not have to wait for them to grow up.
I got a couple Easter Eggers, Lakeshore Egger and Blue Ameraucana for colorful layers. Blue Andalusian and Austra White as my white egg layers. And Welsummer and Black Copper Maran for my dark brown layers. I originally ordered a Golden Cuckoo Maran instead of the BCM but I had to substitute.

Yeah, we need the eggs now so the older they are the better. Claborn is also NPIP which is the only way we can get chicks/eggs. Our blue hatch resulted in 4 boys and 3 girls. :barnie If we can't get rid of these boys then I guess I'm going to figure out how to do this culling thing. :th

Those are awesome breeds! You're going to have such a lovely egg basket. :love
