Yeah! I have been reading about the beak trimming though which freaks me out

And yeah, I wish they didn’t trim them I get a lot of people get them for big corporate type things where they can fight each other but not everyone else. Some people want them natural. I wonder if their beaks grow back???

I just found the image on google. I really like great horned owls. Rehabed two of them.

Informal poll, when I ordered chicks, I went to the PO near work and got their "will call" address and had the chicks delivered to THEM. Letty called me promptly at 7AM to say come get the package. Intend to do again next time. Eggs, chicks and other important stuff. Too much disappears from the mailbox route.

Since this is available everywhere in the States (Batty is out at the north pole and I don't know if there is a PO on her way to the toy workshop), make use of it.

You also get to meet some interesting postal employees who love chicks. Saves the chicks the time in the mail truck and weather.

Does anyone else use the will call? Why not?

Canada post flex delivery is the same thing. It works really well for online ordering. Most of the time i receive messages that items can't be delivered to my normal mailing address.

Yay!!! That place seems like they’re pretty reasonably priced too and have a lot of different age options!! Some of the other places I saw were like at least $25 to $35 a pullet before even shipping then like $80 or $100 even for 1 pullet lol
