➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Moved the duck eggs to the hatcher.
Found 4 already pipped in the flat tray and candled the rest. Four squirmy not pipped. 6 more had large air cells. Another 6 were borderline so kept them too.

Small air cells were removed since there had been no change. Had kept 30 after the power issue....just to check development.

Did ya'll know you can still update on our existing poll? I tried and was successful.

Worked in the garden yesterday and finished planting the squash. Prepped a bed for sweet potatoes. Weeded around the onions.
We have rain moving in today.
I have to tackle the flower beds along the driveway and around the house next.

We worked 22 calves thru the chute yesterday.... vaccinations, tagging, banding the steers and Ivomec spray. Sprayed the moms and then matched them up as pairs while calves nursed their moms. Always good to know which calf goes with which mom when you need to pull a pair to treat a health issue.

Definitely cleaner!
I told the Mex to search up bunny killing on YouTube.
He laughed at me.
I'm back to thinking I might need meat rabbits again.

I think there was a thing called a hopper popper that did cervical Dislocation Posted in one thread on the forum.
We talked about it here a while back.
Mex is just not really a fan if killing...the Mini on the other hand. I'm sure I could convince him.

Im with the Mex on this one. I can do chickens and quail, no way I could do any bigger.
I am not a good farmer, it all bothers me. Actually, I'm good with killing fish. And, I have no issues with preparing and eating what someone else kills at all. But putting bunnies in a hopper would give me nightmares.
