➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

The chickies are so cute lately lol I open the door and they all come running up and jump on my knees and fly on me and run around lol

Today I sat in there and they were so cute.

Sweetpea tried to dustbathe in my sweatshirt with no dust. :lau :love thinking tomorrow if it’s nice I may let them out in the yard for the first time. In a little pen or something of course.

Here are some cute videos of them from today.

And a few pictures lol

Sounds like that dog needs a vet or a canine neurologist or behavioral specialist lol he seems to have some seriously neurological and/or health issues going on ha

But yeah, most doodles are definitely insane or at least, I think people let them be insane. Get them cause they’re popular and in style and everyone else has one then don’t train it or do anything with it. Everyone has doodles here too. But that said, I do think a lot of them are genuinely insane lol cause people just throw any two dogs together with no care and sell the resulting “doodles” for thousands. And some of the mixes are REALLY bad and don’t mesh well at all and cause problems blended. But that said, I have met some nice ones. Maybe they make nicer ones here lol idk. In my area, there’s actually a doodle breeder or two in town I think and some in the next towns. There’s actually a bunch of doodle breeders near me. And dog breeders of other breeds too.
I think it was Tessie that posted the link on here not too long ago about the creator of the first "doodle", and how sorry he was for doing it.
Not saying other dog breeds aren't weird. I think most dogs are weird. I think I've only had one "normal" dog in my entire life, my childhood Golden Retriever, Andy. He was an outside dog that was allowed to sleep in the laundry room on a dog bed in his later years. He had an outdoorsy family that went on at least one long walk a day and spent a lot of time with him. An all around sweetheart of a dog. Can't say the same for my current weirdo motley crew! They are both really good, obedient dogs, but neither one hold a candle to Andy.
Personally, I think a lot of these issues arise from people treating their dogs like children instead of dogs. A dog is not a person. It's a dog. It doesn't think like a person. It thinks like a dog. We, as humans, can't think like a dog, so we do what we think is best and often times it results in strange behavior from our four legged friends. Not associating this with negativity, just an observation on dogs and dog behavior in general.

YES. THIS. EXACTLY.
I'm convinced the insanity comes from the doodle part. Every single one i've met has been just a bit much, you know?! Also... paying that much for a mutt :gig.
Oh, plus the barking! Why do they all bark manically? I can't stand a dog that barks all the time for no reason. Drives me up the wall. I'm quite pleased that both of my dogs are largely silent.

Good to know I don't have any experience with either breed I've been on the lookout for a female chocolate lab for a while but by the time I find them they're sold. Ima have to breakdown and put a preborn deposit on one

Labs are great dogs!! I love them. We used to have a yellow lab and Gator was half black lab and half Great Pyrenees. Libby and Franklin are both part Lab, along with a few other breeds. I just love Labs as you can see lol Golden’s are great too, I know several amazing Goldens. I just love all the retrievers really. You can’t go wrong with a good retriever imo. But yeah, I think the deposit thing would be a good idea because the chocolates seem to be a lot less common and a lot more popular making things difficult.

My nephews dogs. Unrelated the smaller one is a pup he's had since it was weined and they wanted to get her a friend so they found the larger one at the pound. He was on the hit list and about to be put down. They get along great. I'm glad he was able to save the one from being put down.
I have one pit she's I think 10 and acts 2

Dummies! I think it's cute when they lay stretched out like that.
