➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I'm peeing in my pants.
I LOVE how she wants you to show us the closets.
The kitten cabinets...I'm dead.
They are looking fabulous. I can't believe they look so good.

The stove vent Hood thing...are you going to stain that wood It is is wood there right?) The same color as the cabinets too?

It's soooo close!!!

Puckers looks like a nice beast with the wind blowing on him.
I love him.
The lower wood part of the range hood will be stained, the same as the cabints. I'm also going to stain some floating shelves for that wall. I got some plaster of paris bricks that I'm going to paint like red brick for the backsplash and the top wood section of the vent hood.

Poor Puckers has been relegated to being tied up for the time being :(. He's figured out how to get out onto the highway and chase vehicles :( he's pretty depressed. I've got to get one of those perimeter shock collars for him. He also needs to get some obedience training. I spend over an hour a day trying to catch him.

ohh can't wait for this.

It looks gorgeous! That length gives you a lot of volume. I say keep it exactly like this.

I only wash my hair 2x per week. Not because of girl because my hair is super straight, but because it's not really good for your hair to wash it all the time. Mine is about the length kiki's was, so I don't want it to break.

KDog... girl...I love the curl in your hair! Mine has to be styled EVERY DAY because of how straight it is. I envy your curls. I soooo wish I could hop out of the shower, but some product in it and just GO! Only wash it once a week, find a good leave in conditioner and embrace those girls, baby!

Aw thank you! Yeah usually I don’t even have to put anything on it, just wash it and condition it then brush it and that’s it LOL it curls by itself! Although I do brush the conditioner through in the shower before rinsing it off and then brush again after I get out. But it is pretty nice to be able to not have to mess with it lol cause when I straighten it, it like burns it and gets all frizzy :barnie

I straightened it again last night cause I thought FSIL would want to see it in person since she liked it on FB but then she wasn’t even there so I lost some extra sleep for nothing LOL plus it keeps curling again every time I do it so I think that’s gotta be a sign or something. :lau

I might just leave it curly lol

When I Googled that method, I saw some curls with really nice curly hair, like way longer than mine, so I may just grow it out and go like suuuuupeeeeerrrrrrr curly/long LOL although that said, my hair never really grows past a certain length even when I don’t cut it in forever lol

Although I do need to cut the dead/split ends off and style it a bit so I may just get like a trim or something and try to get it healthy again and then grow it out haha

Check with your state tax office about your ag exemption... you might still qualify for farm tax exemption with the goats and chickens. Some states require a tractor as well.

If cows are really necessary...a milk cow must be milked twice a day! That is a full time commitment.
Beef heifers would grow up, could be bred by a neighbor's bull that has epd for small birth weight or artificially inseminated. Heifers are less trouble than a bull. Steers are raised for butcher and are the least trouble.
Of course there are always pet cows....

I'm assuming the smoothing treatment instead of the Brazilian with all that formaldehyde!

A friend used to always slick her curly hair in place with mousse and chemicals. Finally decide to give in to her curls and keeps it short. Just a little conditioner and finger dries her hair. Really pretty on her.
My hair is thick but really fine and gray. I like L'Bri aloe shampoo and conditioner.

Put them together or add a hen and a rooster to the little's pen and observe how they interact after a few days together. Then if okay, put them together.

Yeah, I think I might just keep the curls and learn how to take care of them properly/get them healthy again lol

Oh boy, time to list!
Horses: 5
Dogs: 4
Cat: 1
Chickens: 30(?) 26 hens 4 boys maybe?
Ducks: 3
Goose: 1 (we’ve tried to introduce her to another goose and she was NOT okay with it)
Fish: 11

I think that’s it?

Oh wow you have a lot of animals!! More than I thought LOL I was way off. :lau

I know right?!

I have the opposite problem.... way too much time lol

With super curly hair a weekly mayonnaise treatment works wonders.

Mayonnaise!? That’s so interesting!

Yup, that's the one.
The deck is actually supposed to be an addition, but in order to get the building permit pushed through quickly we switched it to a deck. This project is costing about 3x what we thought, so I think that it's going to stay a deck.

I kinda like the deck!! It’s nice!! A good place to sit and relax.

@Texas Kiki you didn't tell me that you were coming to visit or that you're an elf!

We had to tie Gator up too cause he would run off and we didn’t have a fenced yard but we had really long ropes so he could wander all around most of the yard and didn’t feel tied up like he would on a short rope or tie out. It was also useful for recall cause when he wouldn’t come I would just reel him in like a fish until he did LOL he didn’t like at first and refused to come and used to plant and lay down and stuff but he very quickly realized that I meant what I said and I didn’t stop reeling the rope in for anything so either get up or get dragged ha he usually chose to get up. Smart decision. Eventually I just had to reach for the rope and didn’t even need to pick it up. Sometimes I wouldn’t even need to reach for it. He got very good. And very useful to call him off from barking at everything too lol and don’t worry, he didn’t really get dragged and he was always on grass, but sometimes he would lay flat on his side, so he did get slid a little bit, but he never got hurt.

What I make out of having “nothing” to eat in the house... there’s plenty to eat when you actually look for stuff and get creative. :D
