➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

It's probably because Ruger happens to be my heart and soul.

We have our 10 year old *rescued lab/st. bernard x basset mix (she looks like a full lab) and our two bulldogs, then our 18 year old cat.

*She was a four week old puppy that was given to us at a garage sale, since they said they were going to take her to the pound if no one took her.

Horses are Guinness (bay), Kansas (pinto), Mammoth (draft), and the two minis Snoopy and Olly.

Awww that’s awesome!! Have you ever heard the term heart dog? People use it to talk about/describe their dog that’s like.... their dog. Their buddy. One that they have a really strong/special connection too. Like there’s regular dogs and then there’s your heart dog and no other dog is the same. I feel like that’s Ruger for you. I still haven’t found my heart dog yet. :hit I loved Gator and Bailey but I don’t think they were like the one lol like you know. You can tell. There’s just something really special about them.

Awwww so sweet you rescued her!! She sounds like a real sweetie!! And OH YEAH!! The bulldogs!!! How could I forget them!?

And aw 18!? Wow!

And I feel like I’ve heard those names before. I think you posted them on Abigail’s horse thread before? Or one of the threads lol

Dogs are good. Little dude is really responsive to training and is now A-okay with the birds without a leash. Makes life a lot easier as the birds are waiting by the front door when I get home every day.

Awww that is awesome!!! Sounds like he is turning into a great little dog!!! Are he and Ben getting along well? Is Ben the other one’s name? I’m sorry, you are one of two people I know of on here with Dobermans so sometimes I get mixed up.

How old is the little dude now? He was a puppy when you got him, right? Or was he older? Less than a year I think right? All I remember is he was really cute :lau

I’ve heard of heart horses, not heart dogs. Ruger is just the other half of me, the day he passes...I don’t know what I’ll do.

Lou is my old dobie (well, dobie mix). Rickety Cricket, the street rat is the little one. My best guess is he's just over a year or so. They love each other. Two peas in a pod.
