I hard boil my older eggs and then crush them shells and all to feed back to my chickens. I have also scrambled them without the shell to feed back to the birds.
 
A little disappointed. A 77 year old friend came by today and brought his son who is training to be a duck judge. While here, he was looking over my duck flock pointing out the different breeds to his dad.
I asked him about my Saxony named Morgan. He said "He has great type, form and shape to the Standard, but his coloring is not correct. Still a nice drake."

I scrambled a bunch of mine today and gave them to them but I did give them the shells. Usually I put the shells in with the eggs and cook them together or I bake the shells but today I just crushed them up raw and put them in the pans ha they loved them though. The new chicks loved having eggs for the first time haha

They get more out of the eggs if they are cooked.

Oh sorry if I wasn’t clear in my post, I did cook the eggs. I was meaning the shells I crushed up raw rather than the eggs. I usually bake the shells or something to make them easier to crush and didn’t this time so that was why I said raw. But the eggs themselves were scrambled. :)
