I will try switching to tongs. I have ones just like you described, but haven’t been using them. I just place individual worms in front of him....which probably cemented the association between fingers and food. Oops.

After Finn bit me I knew I messed up lol. Because of her poor eyesight, she’s kinda trained to just strike as soon as something touches her nose. It’s hilarious and frustrating.
She literally closes her eyes, lunges, and hopes for the best.
Meanwhile I’ll watch her flail around like.. dude, really? You’re not even trying.

Hoshi at least looks for worms first before munching my fingers. And at his age it is like being bitten by a butterfly. Nothing like Tad when she was younger. Still, not ideal for him to go into hunting mode every single time I reach in there. Tongs it is! Thanks!
