➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

And I am dealing with Daisy being broody again. :he:he:he This is the 3rd time in what? 4-5 months time? I wonder if it would just be easier, on her and me, to just let her hatch out a few chicks? I don't need any more chickens and I don't know how easy it would be to give them away. The timing with weather conditions and that they'd just be mixes. Idk. Has been aggravating. And we still haven't processed or gotten rid of the extra male ducks. Man they are handsome little boogers. :love And life has just been happening so I've just been lurking and trying to catch up lol. :frow
I found several caches of eggs in different stages of development under 6 different hen's. I candled all, kept estimated day 10, day 12 and day 15. Put these under the hens. Some chicks are hatching today. The hens will keep their babies warm and will take them outside successfully in cooler temperatures than we think they should.

Beautiful!

I spotted a little bird at the feeder this morning that I did not recognize. When I went back this afternoon with the camera, none of the little birds were to be seen.

This is why all the little birds were hiding. It pretended to be sleeping but did just barely open one eye for a brief moment.

Smart hunter...smarter prey.

Hey @NanaKat was it you that said your husband loves watching the police/detective/crime shows? Can’t remember if it was you or somebody else. but if it was you, what did he think of last night’s NCIS New Orleans episode (if he watches that one)? Cause I finally had a chance to watch it (and the other 2 Tuesday night shows) tonight and man am I upset about this one LOL also I thought the other two shows were really good. If he doesn’t watch them and/or it wasn’t you I was talking about this with forever ago then just ignore my rambling. :lau
