I like to make something like this, but I use salty anchovies or sardines instead of tuna, and I omit the tomatoes. Or I'll use some of that fancy aged Italian fish sauce, colatura di alici. That stuff is rad.This reminds me of his (Mex)friend that visits every now and then from Italy.

I had a sub from Which Wich... It was a black bean patty with hummus, roasted red peppers, black olives, pickles, and carmelized onions.

No, stand right there with her and write it down as she makes it. I have recipes that aren't written down. When I made my cookbook, I had to make the recipe and write it down as I made it.
It's just a butter/cream combo to ensure perfect crust.
I eat mine plain... like a normal person. Or maybe with stir fry or sausage and peas on top of it.

You and I will sit in the corner with our buttered, garlic/herb noodles while these sauce people argue about what belongs in tomato sauce. By the time they get around to making the sauce, the noodles will be gone.
