Did you get the backyard set up for chickens?

I'm pondering a mobile coop so the goodness can be spread around. Their current exercise yard is showing rich soil asking to be planted.

IV is still asleep. I checked on her recently to see if she was alive and she puffed and hissed at me.

hubby says my only job after finals is to finish her new tank.

Tad isn't in full brumation. She sleeps more than normal and spends a lot of time in her cave. But she still likes window time. And will cuddle with me (read: nap on me) while I work on my laptop if I put a blanket over her.

Hoshi thinks he is athletic. It's hilarious.

Yeahhh....The Tad tank project has also stalled out until after the semester ends

What is this turkey and egg noodle?
Is it like chicken noodle soup?

Sort of... I boil the carcass with 3 inch pieces of celery, same for carrot and a quartered sweet onion.
While this cooks I make egg noodles (note: for two turkey carcass, I make a double batch of noodles)
Beat 1 egg with 1/3 tsp salt
Add about
2/3 c all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
To make a rather stiff dough. Knead it then permit it to rest covered for 1/2 hour.
Cut dough into one inch wide sections and roll out super thin and let air dry a bit. Dust with flour, stack the strips and cut them 3/4 inch wide. Dust these noodles with a little flour to rest.
Next remove the bones from the broth to cool and I strain the broth and remove the tidbits of turkey from the bones and add the meat back in the broth. Coarse chop the cooked celery, carrot and onion. Season the broth to taste with salt, pepper, garlic...herbs...your choice.
Bring the broth and meat to a simmer.
Add the dusted noodles to the "soup/stew" and cook the noodles about 5 minutes. The flour on the noodles helps thicken the broth.

No and no. I did mediocre on my last exams and I’m fairly sure I failed the biochem exam.

I am going to see if what I have on hand (besides the two things above) can make this work (for now...I still ma change my mind.)

I put the hydrometer in and instantly get worried that I don't have enough humidity.

I have laughed so hard that I have almost peed my pants over this.
I don't think it's so funny now that I have things moving inside the eggs.
I'm going to be a mess for a while.

Almost the way I used to make dumplings when I worked at cracker Barrel.

No, but the worst part of our back fence is getting replaced this week. It’d be a good spot for them, maybe.
The only thing stopping me is that I don’t know what to do for a run.
