Why do people eat regularly off of foam or paper plates with plastic utensils?

I thought people just use these things for a big party or something every once in awhile... Not daily.
Good question. They can't afford a sink?
I even stared at my DH while he was walking in the bedroom and screamed "get out" over and over while I was sleeping.

I was on that stuff when I was 18 for headaches. Didn't do diddley for them. Wicked withdrawal too.
I was on it because my brain’s blood vessels were swelling and they thought I was at risk for an aneurism. Anti depressant was bonus.
Yes, the withdrawal was hell. I’ve blocked those months out of my memory lol.

We decided not to do the chicken swap on Sunday because I feel like it's going to be too stressful for me and I don't feel like being stressed out before Christmas.

We have 15 meat chicks, which I think is a good amount for what we need them for (dog food and families food). I added another chick to my layer flock yesterday  so I've added 5 so far.

I don't think I'm going to be getting a plucker and I'm just going to take the skin off feathers and all... Seems easier to me

Youngest daughter has two boys that are active in golf and swimming as well as middle school band. She is a PTA mom for both the elementary and the ms. They have a boys shelf for paper plates and melamine cups and saucers.
Boys make their snacks after school on paper plates while she finishes dinner prep. They make their breakfast on the melamine and rinse those each morning or use a paper plate for the microwave quickie breakfast.
She loads the dishwasher as they head out the door for school.
Fewer broken dishes and easy/quick clean-up which means she can spend more quality time with her family.

My migraines diminished in intensity and frequency when I went thru menopause. I was prescribed Phentonal for mine when I was in college. Quit taking it befor I had my daughter.

I find skinning quicker and less frustrating. The skins, entrails and removed body parts go to the catfish and crawdad ponds.

All right figure if they want skin-like chicken I could just make a batter for it. It's probably less frustration to do that than pluck feathers or buy an expensive plucker.

I think I can find better things to spend $300+ on

Depends on cooking method. Planning on roasting, skin is nice. Wrapped in bacon, held in place with toothpicks, is sometimes considered better. Rotisserie crisp skin is delightful. Dry cooking methods like rotisserie or smoking needs the added fat.

Diced in a one-pot-wonder, add butter or bacon grease, no skin necessary. For stir fry, use the chicken grease (schmaltz) from the bone broth.

Thank you for telling me all that...

I usually use the pressure cooker, air fryer, or the cast iron skillet. When I use the cast iron skillet I sear it and then I put it in the oven for a few minutes until it's done.
