➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

The needle/blood draw isn't going to bother me.
It's just the thought/knowing I should eat that's bothering me.
It's always like that when you're told you can't. The day before surgeries are always fun when they say you can't after midnight so you eat until then :lau

My eyes may have been a bit bigger than my stomach. :lau :hide

I can't believe I have no chicks except 5. Now I'll feel weird when I go outside and I don't see them all running towards me.

I just climbed in the brooder with mine LOL

They were scared of me at first till I put food in my hands. :lau

Some of those little cluckers peck HARD!!! LOL

You wouldn't last in our house.

I've been craving some mashed taters and gravy.

I probably wouldn’t either. I don’t like lamb. Or rather, never tried it.

It’s my favorite thing ever. :love

These are real ones too not those gross pouch or flake kind lol

I think green bean casserole is my favorite part though lol

Do you like lamb chops?

You're funny. What if you get up and eat in your sleep?

Mmmm... lamb chops :drool

A store nearby will sometimes carry a rack of lamb on sale. I'll buy it sometimes if I can. I will split them up in double chops and usually clean the bottom bones of the chops (french style I think it is). And then marinate them in a bag of fresh rosemary, thyme, garlic, kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. Then roast them. Oh so good!

:gig From one picky eater to another, how the heck can you say you don't like something if you've never tried it?

That sounds incredible. Leg of lamb is alright but properly done chops are to die for.
My dad could eat lamb every day, I think it's an Australian thing.

:lau touché!

I think I may have tried it once forever ago. My parents say I’ve had it and duck before but I don’t remember ever trying either. :lau :hide

I think I should try it again though. I might like it now. If I did try it, I was a little kid and of course a kid wouldn’t like it haha

Might appreciate it better now. :lau

And I’m sure my parents cooked it totally wrong and/or ruined it :lau :hide

I do remember they always used to eat it with mint jelly when they made it lol
