➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

@Kiki never mind about the eggs because I don't know if I told you but I gave Sid to someone that was local and takes roosters... I just saw that he had an ad on craigslist for eggs for $4 a dozen...

He has roosters with his hands so all of these eggs are fertile and he is going to collect me three dozen of them to see how good they do :D I should have the eggs by Sunday so I'm going to start my incubator today :celebrate

My birthday is on February 1st so I was going to get eggs for my birthday, but I guess I just saved us a bunch of money doing it this way.

That sounds like a great plan!! And maybe now they will hatch on or near your birthday which is even better than eggs anyway LOL

All of the major hatcheries ship hatching eggs.
I am going to get local eggs from someone that I gave roosters to. He has a variety of hens He buys them at $0.25 a piece at tractor supply because he buys them in large quantities.

I know that he has three of our olive egger roosters and one of our Black Jersey Giant roosters.

It should be interesting to see what pops out

You guys would flip if you knew the price that I was paying for them :lau If I can work a good relationship with this guy, I can definitely get a lot of good chicks
