He is going to text me when he gets three dozen eggs. What I'm paying is under $12 total![]()
I am going to get local eggs from someone that I gave roosters to. He has a variety of hens He buys them at $0.25 a piece at tractor supply because he buys them in large quantities.
I know that he has three of our olive egger roosters and one of our Black Jersey Giant roosters.
It should be interesting to see what pops out
You guys would flip if you knew the price that I was paying for themIf I can work a good relationship with this guy, I can definitely get a lot of good chicks

I told him not to put them in the refrigerator and just leave them on his counter. He doesn't know anything about incubating eggs so he is very interested to know how everything goes with the fertility rate and hatch rate because I told him he could sell them for more if he has that information... He doesn't have an incubator though and he wasn't interested in incubating his eggs.
He uses the roosters to till up his gardens, He has massive gardens.
The hens he uses for eggs and that's it.
I'm still going to put some of my eggs in the incubator as well because HeiHei might have mated. I want some of his chicks.
Now that we have no chicks we have room to hatch 42 of them. Plus it's almost prime time for chicks right now. People are getting that itch to buy.
I have to remove my craigslist add. I haven't done that yet.
Great! You probably have actual humidity where you are so the crystals drying out may not be an issue for you. But if they do, you can put a very small amount of water in the bottom of your "water dish" and put the crystals on top of that. The water will help keep the crystals moist.@CSAchook I just ordered the Flukers Cricket Quench and some roach food. I ordered 3 lbs of food from a company called Bad A$$ Bugs, they have really good reviews. I'll see when I get them tomorrow if they like the food.
Our humidity is usually between 30% and 60%. This Winter has been very dry I can tell because my face is so dry right now my skin feels like it's shrivelingGreat!
