➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Our humidity is usually between 30% and 60%. This Winter has been very dry I can tell because my face is so dry right now my skin feels like it's shriveling :lau I'm a humidity type of girl. I'm basically like a tropical lizard and I love heat:lau
We are usually bone dry here. I have to re-wet poor Hoshi's moss daily to keep his little humid hide comfortable for him.

I set up the roaches tank, but I still have to get some more egg crates.

My husband wants to put a few boxes in there because we have a surplus of boxes at our house. It would be nice to use them for something besides burning in a bon fire.

I can't believe that this tank has been around for as long as it has. We've had this tank since my youngest was a year old, he's now 11. It's in perfect condition too.

Nice! I think we have different brands but they look like essentially the same products. Should work great!
One other question for you. Your roach tank does have a lid, right? Dubias cannot climb glass or smooth plastic, but fully adult males can fly. So breeding colonies need a lid.

Yeah it's a fish tank that has a lid. There is a small hole but my husband is going to do something about it by putting a piece of cardboard or screen on that spot.

I got 2 males and 10 females.

I haven't put the heat mat or anything because it's all coming in tomorrow at the same time as the roaches :thI did get the heat pack and everything with the roaches so they should be fine while I'm setting up the tank.

They will be just fine. They can live at room temperatures with no problems. It is only for successful breeding that they need the higher heat. Enjoy your sack full of roaches! :gig
