4 kinds of meat (1 piece of each), a medium beet, rice, 1/4 cup whole corn meal, 1 large egg, 1 Tbs flaxseed flour, water and dog vitamin...maybe a biotin tablet and liquid vitamin E.
Fine chop the raw meat, add the other ingredients except the vitamin.
Cover with distilled water to 3 inch above ingredients. Boil or pressure cook until tender. Cool down and run thru your food processor.
Mix in crushed vitamin and biotin.
Use an ice cube tray or dollop on cookie tray. Freeze.
Also use a ceramic bowl or a stainless steel bowl to feed. Plastic can cause a rash. I used to breed Chihuahuas...had 19 at one time.
Good advice for Kelsey!Kelsey on this front i wanna remember to tell you put up a flyer at your TSC is another sales option. Only got a few sales from that but since u only have the one clutch.... also, if your coop is in order? i wouldnt keep a rooster from the hatchery clutch, i would order from a pure flock and start a breeders colony where when that hatching bug digs in your able to hatch from your own.
Those are gorgeous! I dont have a cab bator just 3 brinsea's but i staggered them through there so that i had a hatch every wk for most of the year. I liked raising them in small batches where they were a little less flighty and it was easier to maintain close supervision on them. I hardly lost any after hatches. Always had something avalible this way too and helped keep sales a little more steady.
And Thank you. I've been breeding them for 10 years.
