This is not true. Once they hatch the incubator's job is over.
The sooner they eat and drink the better.

When I used incubators I pulled Them as they hatched still all wet and they went into the brooder under the lamp so they could fluff up. No problem

Also I'd like to add from earlier. If possible have a broody hen ready when you get shipped eggs. Give them the best chance possible.

You did them all on your own. I merely suggested you do them. I've been adding weights in lately --- jump squats while holding weights is extra killer!
