➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Good morning everyone!
Thanks to all who gave me great advice and wished me a good time last night!
Prom was amazing, I had a fantastic time!
To those who wanted to know:
The order of prom was - Dinner, Tour of the museum for 2 hours, and dancing for 3 hours

I went with two separate friend groups, who knew individuals from each group. I toured the museum first with one group, then with the other. Of course, most of us got bored with touring the museum about an hour in, but we did take some pictures on some of the motorcycles available for pictures.

At the dance, I split my time 2:1 between the two groups. Of course, I did plenty of dancing even though I can't dance to save my life. There was a lot of screaming to the loud music and crazy dancing to fast beats. Towards the end of the dance time, we all did the Cupid's Shuffle. I also did two slow dances with two girls who didn't have any dates to dance with, and we all had a really good time during it.
One of the greatest moments was when all of my friends and I were dancing in this huge group, and there was dance offs going on between several of the guys. (@KikisGirls) I definitely danced with a guy much closer than 6 inches a few times :plbb I also had a good laugh being taught how to slow dance by one of the girls I was dancing with. And another girl and I that were doing a slow dance during one of the slow songs kept creeping on my male friend who was dancing with his date because he's so uncomfortable slow dancing and we were assessing his progress :lau
During one of the songs, I guess I was having "too much fun" dancing to the beat because a couple of the guys in my group tried to force me to go to the middle of the circle to dance. I refused, of course.

Overall, I had a fantastic time at Prom, especially dancing. There was a lot going on, but all of it was great. I'm so happy I went because I had the time of my life. It was really worth it and I'll be going again next year. :wee
So glad you had such a great time, (kind of knew you would), you are so sweet to dance with the girls without dates. The venue sounded fun to begin with. You and your friends will be talking about Prom, this one and next year for years to come. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how it went, I really enjoyed reading about it and it brought back a lot of great memories for me. Get some rest today. I think you earned it! :yesss:

I feel the need to share my abbreviated prom story from years ago. My friends and I pooled our money and got a limo as that was the thing to do. Our limo driver said to call him whenever we were ready to go and he'd be there within 10 minutes, we didn't have a set time he was to come back. We suspect he was waiting in the hotel bar. When he came to pick us up he had a woman with him, whom we suspect he picked up as a cheap date at said hotel bar. On the way home the limo broke down, totally died. He didn't get us home. We had to call parents for rides. The whole thing was a laughable disaster. Then I remember my father being furious because they wouldn't refund our money even though the driver didn't actually drive us home due to the mechanical problems.

Oh my.
I wonder what happened to that driver and the woman.
Married with children?

@Cyprus
I am officially putting a hold on visiting the man...for the next 19 days.

I have veins in the horse eggs. :celebrate:celebrate:celebrate
WHAT!! No visit to the Man!
Did you think we would not see this!:th
You still have the ghetto bater...
And there is room in the incubator for both Baluts and the horse eggs.
But I understand....

A few days...it doesn't take horse eggs too long to hatch.

I'll share my crazy prom story. Yes we still talk about it 18 years later.
A girlfriend of mine had an extra ticket because last min her boyfriend couldn't go. So 3 of us are on our way to the venue and I ask about a 4th friend of ours. None of us recalled him saying he was going. So I pull in the driveway and we find him up to his elbows in grease working on his car. My girlfriend and I pick out his clothes while my date helps him clean up the garage and throws him in the shower. At this point the mom of our new found fourth shows up. She's the local police chief. All she kept saying was how sweet it was we thought of her son. The 4 of us head off and arrive so late we completey miss dinner. We went in some back door and no one even took our tickets.
Years later my girlfriend and prom date got married. They now have 3 kids together. We still laugh about that night.
