my pullets didn’t start till like 9 months old so it’s possible! Lol the leghorn started like September or October I think or the Delaware was October but the other 3 slackers literally didn’t start until last month

Most of mine startedmaying around 16 weeks but some still aren't laying at 8 months

Oh wow that’s early! My first ones started I think at 22 or 24 weeks and they were all laying by 26. These ones decided to wait but I think that is normal since they were maturing as the days were shortening. Sometimes they decide to wait. I’m actually kind of glad because it will extend their productive years and it’s probably healthier for their bodies to be more mature first.

I think I'll have a lot of layers in the summer because the Halloween chicks should start laying by then

Yeah you definitely will!! I’ve been getting 4-6 a day for a little while now and I imagine come summer I’ll be getting even more cause hopefully the older girls will resume laying (only one currently is) and the newest pullet should start too.

We got 6 eggs today. 2 were duck eggs though

The little drop-down box when you start to type in someone's name for a tag is retarded.

I swear I click on the right name but somehow it inserts a different one every single time.
