➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

They might have some nutrient deficiency. Have you tried adding some type of fertilizer to them? I like fox farm fertilizer, it has always worked very well for my plants.

This year I'm going to try to do tomatoes, peppers, jalapenos, and herbs so that I can make fresh salsa. I think I'm going to move my garden boxes too because where they are right now they get way too much sun. When it's 110 it just kills the plants!

That could be! I thought maybe it was the lack of sun or the occasional forgetting to water them but I don’t think that would kill them so idk. They’re still green but just keep dropping leaves. One was really huge and bushy and now not so much. But it’s still growing leaves so idk. I’ve added coffee grounds twice now pretty far apart cause I read they like it and it will cause them to grow new leaves rather than fruit then switch to the opposite when it’s time. Seems to be working. They started growing new leaves when I started doing that. But they probably need more. Will try to find some fertilizer or maybe just take some compost.

That sounds like a good idea!! I’m not sure what I’m going to plant this year but I’m going to be sure to actually eat it this year :lau last year I planted a ton and didn’t eat much of it. I also want to do it right with a fence and stakes and stuff.

Fresh salsa is really good!!

And oh wow I bet!! It would kill me too :lau

So the chicks love the front yard and it has been proving impossible to keep them out. Earlier they were in some bushes in the front next to the house then they moved under a huge bush next to the driveway (and some were in the driveway) and then they discovered the front garden. Finally just chased them out and managed to get them home and locked up. :lau

Not that I particularly mind them being in the front but I would prefer the chickens all be in one area.

I think they are trying to stay away from the big chickens or maybe are just more adventurous being mostly roosters but the back is plenty big enough for all of that! Lol

I keep thinking I’ve lost them and freaking out only to discover they’re in the front!! :lau :barnie

Here they are being naughty LOL

In the 4th one they were pecking my toes!!

Btw here are the plants. Putting them in a spoiler cause there’s a lot of pictures. tried to take pictures of a bunch of leaves. A lot seem to have weird like burn marks on the edges or random holes and also all sorts of weird spots. Sorry if the pictures are out of order. Too many to fix it. :lau I took a bunch of each plant but they might be all mixed up but hopefully you get the idea. And I think you can see what I mean about the one previously being bushy.

I drink a gallon of water or more a day so I rarely get dehydrated.

Oh wow that’s awesome!! I don’t drink nearly enough water.

I mean, it’s all I drink besides tea, I don’t drink soda or anything, but I just don’t drink nearly enough. I can go hours without drinking anything and/or I’ll often wait till I’m super thirsty and already dehydrated before I’ll chug a bunch of water at once. :lau

I always have water with me. I have to drink even more now because they told me to so that my body can repair itself.
